The Institutional Development Plan (IDP) of Basundhara Teachers' Training College (BTTC), Silout, Muzaffarpur, Bihar reflects our commitment to foster growth, raise academic standards, improve infrastructure and enhance the teaching-learning environment. Located in a rural area, in the lap of nature, the college is dedicated to providing high-quality teacher training. This mission is align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG-4) and supports India's vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047 and establishing itself as a global leader. Our main objective is to nurture young, competent and ethical teachers who will play a vital role in realizing this vision and empower them to shape India's future as a "Vishwa Guru ". The IDP ensures that our goals evolve in line with the dynamic needs of the education sector, and prepare well-rounded teachers equipped to lead with equity, access to all, and excellence. To align with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the IDP integrates the transformative 4E framework—Education, Employability, Entrepreneurship, and Empowerment—to produce well-rounded educators.

 

Objective of IDP

  1. Continuously working on quality sustain, enhance and achieving NAAC B+ accreditation in the first cycle.
  2. To develop as a multi-disciplinary institution.
  3. To bring in ITTP (Integrated Teacher Training Programme) and enhance excellence in teacher training.
  4. To emphasize on preparation of National Education Policy (NEP) and integration of Indian knowledge systems.

Heartily Welcome to BASUNDHARA TEACHERS’ TRAINING COLLEGE – An institution with a revolution. Basundhara Teachers' Training College, is established in 2009 having a beautiful and lush green campus that is spread over an area of acres of land, our college campus is at Dr. U.S. Roy Knowledge Park, Silout, N.H.28 (Near Markan Chowk), Muzaffarpur, Bihar- 843119. It is recognised by ERC, NCTE Bhuwneshwar, and Govt. of India and affiliated to B.R.A.B.U, Muzaffarpur. The enrollment process of the Institution is fully transparent and follows the guidelines of BRAB University including the Reservation Policy of Central Govt. and Govt. of Bihar. Students from different community backgrounds are enrolled in every academic session. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in the campus which is insured and protected by members of Anti Ragging Cell of the college. The Institution is adding up to the human resource by making qualitative and quantitative enhancement and has been adorned with several honours and awards.
