As per the provisions laid down by The Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Act No.33 of 1989, dated 11/09/1989 & Notification No. GSR – 316 (E) by the Ministry of Welfare, New Delhi, dated 31/03/1995 and as per the UGC Directives to be adhered to and followed by the educational institutes in this regard, BTT College constituted an SC/ST committee for the general welfare of SC/ST students of the college with regards to the scholarships, admission procedures and other miscellaneous affairs

 

Activities

1. To take action against those who indulge in caste-based discrimination and inequality in the college.
2. To ensure availability and information about scholarships and other schemes related to different castes in the interest of the trainees.
3. Providing facilities as per the rules of reservation in enrollment and scholarship etc.
4. To organize seminars related to caste upliftment, constitutional provisions, national and state plans and symposium of concerned departments and legal practitioners.
